The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) smiled and said, "Do you know your Prophet?"

Once upon a time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was performing Tawaaf. He found a Bedouin circumambulating in front of him with the sound of "Yakrim Yakrim" on his tongue. Hazrat Akram also started reciting Yakrim from behind. If that Arab member went to Yemen, he would read or recite Kareem. Wherever the Bedouin turned and recited or recited Kareem, the government would also recite Kareem with his voice.

The Arab looked at the crowned universe and said:

Bright-faced ones! O handsome ones! By Allah, if your face was not so bright and tall, you would have complained to your beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that you were making fun of me.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) smiled and said, "Do you know your Prophet?"

Asked: No.

He said, "Then how did you believe?"

Asked: I accepted his prophethood without seeing it, I accepted it and I confirmed his message without meeting him. He said: Congratulations, I am your prophet in this world and I will intercede for you in the hereafter.

He fell at the feet of the Holy Prophet and began to kiss. He said: Do not deal with me as the non-Arabs deal with their kings. Allah did not send me as an arrogant tyrant, but as a herald and a warner.

The narrator says that in the meantime Jibreel (peace be upon him) came and said that Allah the Exalted has greeted you and said that you should tell this Bedouin that we will take account of him. The Bedouin said: O Messenger of Allah! Will Allah hold me accountable? He said: Yes, if he wishes he will take account.

He said that if he would take account of me, I would take account of him.

He said, "On what do you hold Allah accountable?"

He said, "If he takes account of my sins, I will take account of his forgiveness." Are my sins too great to be forgiven?

If he takes account of my disobedience, I will take account of his forgiveness.

If he tests my stinginess, I will reckon with his grace.

After hearing all this, Hazrat Akram Syed Alam (PBUH) cried so much that Resh Mubarak got wet with tears. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) came. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Allah says peace and says to stop crying. Your weeping has forgotten the glorification of the angels. Tell your ummah not to take account of us nor we will take account of it and give it the good news that it will be your companion in heaven.
